I'm interviewing for a sales role at Wound Care Technologies, Inc. Can anyone please give me any sort of information on them? I believe Dennis davey is VP, Sales. Serious responses please. Thanks to all.

From what I know, small startup, wound closure device (Dermaclose). Never gained much traction in the market. Likely not well funded, don't think they've reached $1MM in sales.

I would ask a LOT of questions about the support you will get (clinical data, regulatory clearances etc.) and how solid their financing is.

Is it a 1099 position? That's what they were advertising here.

This is a great company and great product, lots of support. I do believe that it's 1099. Get in while you can, it's going to change the industry of wound closures!

    Interesting...

One of their product tutorials describes use of the dermaclose device in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy. It seems to recommend use of Adaptic (Systagenix, Quincy, MA) in the therapy.

    Possible acquisition target for KCI?

Not even a chance it will be an acquisition. Yes, it can be used in conjunction with negative pressure wound therapy. Only for the surgeons who truly believe in wound VAC's. It's a alternative, with better results and approximates wounds in 7 days for closure, not the 3-8 weeks a wound vac takes.
