Saw obit for Tim Flood, 64, on AZ board. Awfully young. FYI

Former Stuart DM here. Remember the great managers meetings Tim had every year? A real reward for working hard. I still laugh at the Nichol awards. Those were some great times.

Does any old timer remember the name of the woman that was appointed to be the national sales manager (or asst. national sales mgr) by Tim. She was a terrific person, but did not last too long in this company position?
    Good memories, but bad recall.

I think you may be right, but I can't rest until I get the last name as well. I do remember getting to know her at a Chicago meeting, and liking her a lot. I also thought she had some really good ideas for the sales force. Unfortunately, she did not last very long....for reasons unknown. As we know, the company was in transition back then, personality and contacts were extremely important in management, and anything was possible. It was also still a great company, and I do miss it, today.

    Right!!!

Thank you for your well thought out and interesting reply. Ah heck....at least I can sleep again now that Jane has a last name.
She was a really nice person, and I did like her after spending an afternoon shopping with her during a free day at a Chicago meeting, long ago. However, like so many others....gone before we really got to know them. Some for the better, some for the worse.

You are welcome! I'm still here trying to survive the way it is now. Early 50s..just started really young and not old enough to retire but really do miss the way it used to be. Enjoy your retirement and Happy New Year!
