Don't freak out about the stock sales. They are just putting their stock options to work...and making millions in the process month after month...all while we stress and worry about if we will be able to pay our mortgages and feed or families in the next couple of months. To sneak a peak at just how many millions they have made in the past few months, check this out:

You will want to vomit when you start doing the math.

So he sold 52,500 at full price then exercised his option to buy 52,500 shares at half the price?

Lots of money. Hard to swallow when tomorrow they are putting over 100 of us out of work. We will also be out of health insurance and a car. Also have to pay that cell phone bill and home fax line out of unemployment wages.

Unfortunately it is the nature of this industry. Upper management continues to get rich, even if they lose their jobs at RD level and above they have nice golden parachutes. It's the front line employees who drive the sales and fills their pockets, and we are the first to go. Pharmaceutical corporations have no loyalty, only to profits. Always be pro-active with your career and never become a victim.

To detail a Doctor over and over with multiple partners doing the same thing seems a bit ridiculous. If you are shocked, you shouldn't be. I have a sales job in an other industry and my territory is similar to the territories that are covered by 4 reps.
Unfortunately, my friend works for Allergan and while there are 4 of them, one of these "Reps" fabricates almost all of the calls. Pretty sad and this person will likely keep their job.
