I am thinking about leaving my company if your new products are approved. Do you guys get stock options or grants, what kind of company cars, salary range and bonus potential? I have won President's Club the last four years and work in the pain management. My pain physicians have mentioned that I should look at an opportunity with your company if there is an expansion. Serious replies requested. Thank you.

Long time rep here. Try to answer as much as possible:

Company cars: who knows, since spin off from Covidien, no one has ordered. Usually changed every order cycle depending on contracts with car companies. You will be contract anyway, so you won't be getting cars.

Salary for expansion reps: you will be contract, so who knows.

Bonus: who knows, don't even have q1 goals yet. Have not a clue how q2 goals/bonus with new products is going to be.

New products: who knows, we barely know teritorry maps and don't have target list or zip codes yet. Lots of us waiting to see how our territories are before predicting success with new product. Not going to tell about new product, because I'm not stupid and am still retaining loyalty to the company. Will say that your pain management relationships will not be key in new product business.

All new positions will be contract ventiv positions moving forward. Therefore vehicle, vacation, 401k and medical will be through them. There no stock options, grants etc. heard salary is less than 70k; don't know about bonuses. New products will not be marketed to pain management. Since you would be Inventiv you would not be eligible for any company trips etc.

It sounds like you are doing well where you are, you are to good for this place. Here are a few reasons why you won't want to come here
-They never give out goals on time (we still have no goals for this quarter and we are half-way through it).
-Bonuses are all over the map and cannot be counted on.
-Stock options are a dream (I have hard that some companies give out lots of options but not here) You may be given a few if you are a favorite but it would probably be very little.
-Cars suck and have not yet been ordered and some people have very high mileage (I know some of the people have cars over 100,000 miles on them)
-Salaries are low for specialty sales.
-Health insurance is higher than every other pharma company.
-The management keeps changing and I dont even know their names and quit caring.
-Somebody with your record would never come here to be put on contract unless you were not working and desperate.
-EVerybody that I talk to is looking for another job.
I have not been here very long and hope to be leaving very soon.I am in my final interview with a good company and can't wait to leave. I hope that helps make your decision and good luck.

PAIN IS A DEAD MARKET, NEW FEDERAL REGULATIONS WILL HAVE PHYSICIANS RUNNING FROM WRITING IN THIS CATEGORY, payors are going to generic only. Time to slash cost and run this company like a generic company, not that it wasn't that different from that anyway.

Once goals were given, they were increased for exalgo with less than a month left in the quarter. I know of several who have left since September and more are looking. There are better jobs out there.

And the mass exodus has begun. Already have heard of several really good reps leaving, think its only a matter of time until we see more go.

I love it here. Compared to the big pharma co I have worked with I rate my experience here as A+. Great salary, good bonuses. Great benefits. Stock matches plus 25%. For a year. Pain will never go away and it will be written regardless of regulations. Perform well and you will get raises on top of annual increase. For the sake of fair balance I have had great manager here. I've worked had and have been rewarded. Don't listen to negatives. Great place to work in my opinion
