any idea what a base salary is for a sales rep these days? realistic first year compensation? Co Car? Good Benefits? Vacation? Micromanaging? I read the thread below and it was from awhile back. Just wondering what it is like to work here since the merger?
I'd like to second this request.... any current feedback on this company, since the Tolmar acquisition? Management? Product Stability? Pipeline? They're doing a lot of hiring right now, and I'm interviewing for two jobs. The pay structure that's been outlined is solid. All of the percentages seem to be lining up, but some of the past comments on this board are a little scary...
50-55 Base. Brand new comp plan with 5% commission on dollar 1. Great benefits. Decent car allowance. Lots of product failures. Impossible KPIs. Micromanaged. Negative environment. Little to no internal promotion. None of the managers or upper management have been reps.
and some territories earn 200 to 300K and they get 5%. But if you have a territory that makes only 100..you will only earn 5% of your territory. AND WORK YOUR ASS OFF. If I am going to work my ass off, I want to be making 15OK and higher.
