Many pharma reps have previous outside sales experience...outside of healthcare. Additionally, having a strong comfort level in the clinical setting as well as within an institutional setting makes a pharma rep very marketable as a Home Health Representative. Pharmacology, etiology, anatomy, and medical acumen...not qualified? Really? Home health would not be an issue for almost any pharma rep in my opinion.
Because it's an industry that's even more corrupt than pharma. And you'll feel like an ambulance chaser.
Stick with Pharma if you can. There is much more money to be made. Take advantage of any educational opportunities you can with your current company. This company, or at least in w mi is all about the numbers, they promoted someone who has know clue what he is doing and a complete idiot.
