Straumann, What a disaster!

No one is more corrupt than Biomet 3i. There are employees who have expensed lap dances. This is no secret. At an October 2013 San Diego meeting employees went to a strip club one night and provided everyone details the next day.. at the meeting. Did the local Manager question this? Another manager was demoted years ago but still continues to supervise and have COSTLY and inappropriate issues with employees. HR rallies around him every time someone reports him. This is perplexing and and no secret at 3i. While this may be just another day of a med device rep in the crazy implant industry we have to question why HR invests money and time in protecting the offenders.

I know of stories of Straumann and Nobel reps who have done dirty things to help their own cause. As for expensing, where you there when the credit card was processed? Did you witness the signing of the receipt? Do you have a copy of the receipt? Did you submit the receipt for evidence of cocoa butter? What is on the header on the receipt? Where you there when the receipt was processed for expenses? Do you know if it was accepted or rejected by accounting? Did accounting find cocoa butter themselves?

Point being, if you don't have actual proof to the answer's above, all you are doing is throwing stones...

I can wake up in the middle of the night, come onto this site, and type baseless claims all for the sake of making myself feel better. But I don't, and the reason why is: I Don't Care what my competition is doing. So long as my relationships and sales continue to grow, please, take them to Thailand for all I care.

 

The creative expensing lesson was explained to a group of us years ago. Taking customers to these places and reps going while at meetings happens all the time. The SD employee meeting/strip club party was recent and everyone in the industry is still talking about it. Management and HR doesn't care because as you pointed out as long as money is made who really cares?

Biomet 3i reps aren't complaining about strip club meetings in San Diego. Are you kidding me? What a morale builder! Late October 2013 was the ideal time to have a Southern Cal meeting centered around "business planning." There will be many more to come. Everyone welcome. There are no HR rules at med device meetings.
