well if they're concerned about compliance NOBODY will be retained. Not that everyone is guilty but it's called guilt by association. I know my best quarters were the ones the two speakers in my territory had a lot of programs. duh...

Been through it... here's what to expect: If you are a new DM, you are gone unless you live close to a higher paid DM and can save the new company money...performance doesn't matter rather where you live! If you are a highly paid DM, you are gone, if you make a lot less and have good numbers in the last year or two, you will stay, if you are specialty, you are gone (too fat and limited in relationships at this point). 1/3 of RSDs and DMs are gone at a minimum and if you make more than the the RSD, DM down the street, Buh bye.

    Good luck!

Oh and Forest Mgmt is probably telling you all...work hard and keep your numbers up so you can stay around...start looking now and get out if you can find someone to hire you. Forest has a bad reputation in pharma so be ready to address that in your interviews...Face the reality and steal some samples of Viibryd!

Actually think there is validity to the violation theory. all of a sudden I'm getting a LOC about a month ago regarding something that happened a year ago in regards to one of my speaker programs. I actually did nothing wrong but my manager said they had to write me up. Anyone else experience something similar?

Yes-hr is on hunt for any possible excuse to notify dms that they'll be writing up a warning for one or more of their reps. Nobody has your back, every man for himself. Don't slack on expenses, don't fail a test, keep your mouth shut, CYA!

If you get an loc or warning fight like h*ll to get it rescinded. Hire an attorney to write a letter or make a call, you've got a lot to lose. You ARE NOT entitled to severance package if you're not in good standing-it's discretionary

The is a spot on post. Anyone here who thinks that the "15% will be cut and it will all based on performance!" line is anything approaching reality needs to get with the program.

Third party is asked to make territories profitable and maximize ROI and margins. They are given the numbers and the names and then the New Actavis is created. Performance, tenure, who likes you, relationsips, Green Jackets...whatever, doesn't matter. The shareholders are the primary concern here, not you and not your 112% Viibryd attainment.

The "salary" adjustment is also a red herring, yeah they will adjust compensation...but it will be for the new hires and the few left over. Most compensation adjustment will be -100%.

If you sit around and hope for the best you will be taking a gigantic risk. Start putting the feelers out and be prepared.
