As of 2/1/2014, mine have not vested or dropped to a holdings account?! We were told 100% vest and sell of our stock on date of termination! Some people were heavily relying on this money, does anyone know what the deal is??

I called to find out the same thing. As of 1/31 Merrill lynch had no idea what was going on and haven't been notified yet. They did say it would take two business days to show up in the brokerage account. I guess actavis keeps fucking us. Also the bonuses aren't paid out till march? I believe this is illegal. We are suppose to be paid out in full on the last day of employment. This is all bullshit. We should have our severance, bonus and stocks paid out or available to us on 1/31/14 since that was our last day of employment.

I guess they are paying bonus in March because thats when we would have received it had we still worked at WC, they have to wait for IMS data to get all the numbers together. I get that, but the stocks is F'd. They better be in the damn holdings account by Monday or things are going to get real bad...So many people were counting on the stock money in their banks within 3-5 business days after termination. I.E. by the end of next week. We will see. No one from my district knows a thing.

My account is showing absolutely nothing, which I am going to take as a good thing. I suppose that they have sent in request and it could take 3-5 business days for them to drop into holdings at which point you could choose to sell at current market value. I hope at least that is whats going on. My severance doesn't add up. They gave me 10 weeks and based on my salary, the final number didn't match, it was a bit short. If the number was quoted before applicable taxes, it should have been a pretty round number, right? Mine was not.

I was told by a representative at Merrill Lynch that our stock, restricted shares, etc. were transferred to American Stock Transfer and Trust. I don't know how true this is but, I was told to call them at 212-936-5100 on Monday. The hours are 9-5 Mon-Fri eastern standard time.
I don't remember reading this in the severance package. I guess we will see on Monday. Hope this helps....

Do we call Merryl Lynch to sell?

Yes. Usually there is an option to sell online with your account info, but in this situation, I believe it warrants a call. Everything should drop in your IIA holdings today.

You can sell online and have money wired directly into your bank account. If you've never done it before, I suggest calling a rep and having them walk you through it.

just sold my shares. Also noticed that my severance for 2 months was about 6% short of what it should have been. I'm sure they are expecting us to just sign it. Glad it's all over. Hope everyone finds something new ASAP!

Mine was about 6% short as well. Not sure what that's all about. It is pretty easy math and should have been a round number. Unless they took severance, 401k, vacation days and added them up, taxed it, and gave us what we would be receiving. Who knows. I'm very curious how bonus will turn out.

Received my stock wired to my account. After getting raped by taxes, it was a nice chunk of money, and for that I am grateful that they held up their end of vesting our stocks at 100%. Waiting on severance and bonus now.
