Worst company in medical devices

    This company was the worst to work back in the old days. I'm sure it's even worse now. The only people that made any money were in the pockets that had good coverage. Their success was never based on skill. The really talented sales people were the ones that survived in shitty coverage areas. In job interviews I have to really sell myself because anybody that's ever heard of RS Medical knows its the biggest joke in medical devices after Empi.

    Yep. Ten+ years ago, RS was making a killing pushing their RS4i in the California WC market. Those days are long gone. Heck, the RS sales model is so yesteryear b/c there are others selling TENS to docs and teaching them how to bill, then send their patients to the RS competitor for the supplies, which still pays very well.

    As for EMPI, the only market they have been able to keep is Medicare, and due to competitive bidding, they are about to lose that customer once it spreads nationwide.
