No longer in tox sales, but they are offered me 1500 for leads that produced a certain amount of volume
I love working here. Our legal staff ensures everything we do is legal. In fact ethical and legal are top considerations. It is a shame that so many of our competitors have to resort to illegal kickbacks and shady operations. If you don't believe it just look up the other labs and see how many on them have had legal actions brought against them.
Nothing illegal going on. They comply with OIG and state laws, it is up to insurance providers. I will have a hard time competing with this company. Kudos to them for trying something different.
Does anyone know if therz a job in New Mexico? I know 3 Kiropractors that want testing bath salts and herbs. Thank you. I need a job cause I have 3 kids from 2 baby daddies and the big salary can help me. I don't need much just $hunred,000 and a great lookin car. Im not gonna to stick it to the man only be paid for my worth.
The problem with Castle is the concept of pass-through billing... the insurance companies and the government are LOSING A TON by allowing their providers to bill for these tests. Once insurers start locking down on pass-through billing, then the Castle's of the world won't be able to survive... That's their pitch... we'll charge you only $xxx, but you get a lot more than $xxx when you bill for it. Revenue enhancement models... oldest trick in the book... and could be seen as a "kickback"... good luck with that.
Other companies offer direct bill or pass through billing. If labs don't offer it the Lab is being greedy and keeping the reimbursement. Insurance pays either the provider or lab. Do your homework!
Insurers only pay the provider if they are licensed to perform lab work. Medicare and Medicaid did away with this practice in the 80's. This is a kickback and illegal. This is allowed in the Pathology world because of the TC/PC billing. Look at Calloway in WV for reference to what happens when you bill like you are a path lab- $4.7m in fines. Castle came into PA to try this and are now being investigated by a Grand Jury, just like PCLS!
Current Castle Medical Sales person here: I am giving my notice as of Friday, November 14, 2014. If you are even REMOTELY capable of thought you can beat this company with your HANDS TIED BEHIND YOUR BACK. This is the MOST mismanaged, unethical, unprofessional company in the industry. One CEO is in jail for medicare fraud and once CMS gets ahold of them again, they are done. Medicare fraud, CLIA violations, unethical sales and employment practices! Go get em!
Hmmm. If you really worked there, then you should probably know that the ceo in jail was for another company named Castle Medical that did diabetic supplies and not your lab. http://www.bizjournals.com/atlanta/news/2012/01/12/ga-man-gets-prison-time-for-medicaid.html
I hope everyone us reading the drama on the Castle page as I am...great ammo if you have Castle in your area....OMG such a terrible company.
No problem! Most all of us expect to be fired promptly by our wonder management because most of us have been here about 60 days and our time is running out. You see Castle likes to fire most all of its sales force every 90 days. It's totally unbelievable here. Most all of the post are dead on. By the way, are you guys hiring? We are cheap hires and have been beaten down by some real idiot managers that have not a clue in what they are doing. Good luck with the conversions. Our accounts are going quick. Are customers are never right and get in the way of our management teams goals and objectives.
