I've never been on this end of the business, but I just can't believe it's legal to publicly take a short position on a stock and then "break" bogus news systematically (always on a Friday shockingly enough) in order to drop the share price and get a pay off. Investors play right into the farse. Sheep. At least I get to pick up more of a great stock on the cheap!
