Did Mass General ever get started with the HF PEA sensor trial after 6 years of talking about it? Why would the FDA allow to stall this technology so long? Lead design?
Does anyone know or just does not care anymore? Amazing technology that will probably have to be given away now where the ASP decline wont even pay for the clinical trial. What a growth driven technology industry we have now. Thanks Obama!
They will have to change the name of it again to minimize the embarassment of not being able to get a trial done here to get it approved. What an underachieving bunch. Great technology but the competition will have it before Sorin. Didnt ELA have the first Biv ICD? That worked out real well for them. First to invent, last to market.
A name change has to happen as the CRM division exits the US market and let the cardiac surgery unit maintain any crediblity. Sorin CRM management or better "Mis-Management" has trashed the company's name and made it a laughing stock. Hard to beleive these guys have gotten away with what they been doing this long without the DOJ looking into them again. This study is nothing but maketing and they have been trying to get it off the ground for the last 8 years. Guess they haven't bought enough Doc's yet to do the study.
