You are going to get your a-s handed to you by Rheum's if you say E or H causes cancer in PsA patients. You need to look at E & H's data as it applies to PsA, not RA. RA patients are at a great risk for cancer due to the aggressive severe nature of their disease, which is why you see an increased risk for cancer for patients with RA. This drug will never get an RA indication because it doesn't work in the joints.

Neither E or H cause patients to kill themselves; suicidality. This is a dangerous DOG drug.

The KOL's are upset they have been working with Celgene for years and that Celgene hid the information regarding suicidality.

You are dead in the water with the rheumatology community.

You might as well not even go to Rheumatology offices with that price. Don't you understand that we Biologics reps own the rheumatologists? The essentially report to us. We tell them what TNF to write and at what dose. No silly pill pushers are going to get my business. You might get some dermatologists to listen, but we own rheumatologist. You are going to get your ass ripped.

Although I do not agree with everything from the last post, I do agree that you are dead in the rheumatology offices.
    1. They were expecting a much lower price - comparable to other oral agents.
    2. For the price you are charging, you are playing in the injectable biologic market. At that price, rheumatologists will be expecting biologic-type efficacy. You can't even come close.
    3. With your price and efficacy, you need long-term relationships. You chose to hire reps with little to no relationships.

You may get some business in dermatology, but you will get nothing in rheumatology. Have fun.

This is officially the most pompous post on this site! I'm sure that you tell your Rheum's to do anything that you want. What a frigging clown! Listen, you may think that you "own" your Rheums and you might be spot on with how difficult it will be to gain business in this space but to say that you "own" them is absolutely laughable.

You are right, the drugs we have in onco HAVE made this company what it is. This tool of a division I & I have no drugs, and weak inexperienced staff. They are going to continue to contribute little to nothing to our bottom line, and will likely be put out to pasture in due time.

I am spitting mad. I am a biologics pro, experienced with 10+ years of big pharma before my company moved me over to our biopharma group, where I became the industry's gift to rheumatologists. My ego has grown over the past 10 years.

Can you imagine my disgust when I interviewed with someone younger than me, smarter than me and someone with an entirely different culture? The DM I saw told me they were entirely performance based, with non of the silly activity trackers we use.

It just doesn't not make sense that I didn't get a call back. Instead, I got an HR electronic rejection.

I'll be honest, I am pissed and I will troll these boards for years making stuff up and trying to create chaos. All the while, my product has 99% access on managed care, so the MDs don't even have a choice. I will crush you.

You forgot to mention I make a mother load more than you. Celgene cannot compete yet wasted my time knowing full well I make more than these inexperienced Dms. ; )

Posts like this show your ignorance.
    1. Most biologic reps don't have 10 years of "big pharma" experience. Most have much less. The personalities of successful biologic reps don't fit with "big pharma" culture.
    2. Biologic reps are paid on performance, not "activity trackers". You are confusing us with your friends from primary care.
    3. You are not smarter than us. In fact, you seem upset when we point out flaws in your clinical data (we actually read the clinical papers, not just the marketing pieces).
    4. We do not consider ourselves "God's gift to rheumatologists". However, we do have years of relationships with the rheumatology community. We know and trust each other. We do not act like, and are not viewed like the "pill reps". That gives us a degree of access and influence that you will never have or understand.
    5. Most of us did not apply for positions with your company. However, we have heard about the train wreak of a division that you put together, and it is fun to come hear and see it for ourselves.

You hired managers with little or no management experience, reps with little to no rheumatology experience for a specialty that values clinical knowledge and discounts the T and A show that you have assembled.

Your were right on one thing - you will be crushed in the rheumatology market.

Career suicide unless you are unemployed. These dm's have no clue, and this division already is the laughing stock of the industry.

Whoever decided to hire 25 year old girls with no experience in management, to be district managers, deserves a raise. That's going to work out real well. Lots of credibility they will have with their reps I am sure.

This is a mockery, this division is destined to fail and makes no money-in their paycheck and for the company. These dm's would be lucky to get a sales job at pdi. Sorry, just sayin.

Could not agree more. All the sticking up for club C, getting angry. There is only one division to work in this company, the one that makes the money - ONCOLOGY. This is literally very close to a primary care sales force, selling a synthetic pill that will get little traction and getting paid as such. Why else would they have reps with no exp in DM roles? The answer is right in front of your face grasshopper: Because I & I is a complete joke.

As someone who has worked in the Oncology Division of Celgene for many years, your concerns about the immunology division are shared by those of us inside of the company. Celgene made its reputation, made its employees wealthy, and helped patients by being a biotech company based on science that hired people with extensive biotech experience as reps and managers. This new division is a joke. We are ashamed that they are even allowed to call themselves Celgene. What is upper management thinking?

I have been in the business since the late 1990s and recently found myself in a biotech company that has a dispute with FDA labeling and most of the field force laid off. I have witnessed multiple companies in this time go this route of inexperienced reps who they can mold into what they want. I have been on both sides of this trend. Every single time when going up against well balanced field force, the young field force has gotten their ass kicked. Just look at diabetes today, AZ and Lilly are getting their ass kicked by J&J and Novo with virtually identical drugs. Forest and Novartis have tried both going young or maintaining a nice mix of young and experienced in the field but only proven managers. Guess when both won and lost. The problem is most of the recruited leadership coming out of America's top business colleges over the last 15 years are the diapers to Harvard crowd who have never lived in the America 95% of their customers, both internal and external, live in. They view everybody else like they're stupid because they didn't go to an "elite" college. Unable to comprehend being wrong, their answer is more of the same only more extreme.

Then why are all of you referring your friends from other companies? Are you purposely referring bad reps? Do you want Celgene as a whole to fail?? I would NOT want to beon your team. How many teammates have you stabbed in the back. Geez!
