Hey, good to hear from you! Unfortunately I think our original Actos exchange was deleted during a CP cleanup. In a nutshell, I will say in 2014 my feeling is that pioglitazone has a very limited role. Metformin, GLP-1s, DPP4s and probably SGLT-2 inhibitors are better choices. but, in a patient WITHOUT CHF concerns, it's probably safer than sulfonyureas. How about you?
