Scrub tech? No. I will date them though if the surgeon won't go for me.

 

Yes, scrub tech! The only difference is you care more than they do and maybe know the instruments better. Wait, maybe not. Hanging out in every case and only having a handful of accounts is a loosing game. Most companies have figured out that good reps will not put up with this. Wake up!

 

Haters. I hear the Mitek and smith nephew reps talk about how much they are making. I would rather work for the top dog. I am in every case. They need me in every case. Staff makes jokes about other reps when they use their stuff and they are not there.

 

Yeah, the other reps aren't there because they're at their other accounts, because they have way more accounts than you! So they get to make relationships at more than a couple of accounts. They are also making way more money than you! You may work for the top dog, but have you every asked yourself why you have to make less money? If you had to take a job with Arthrex to get into the field, that's great. But if you have been working there for more than a few years, still not making any money, then you need your have your head examined!

 

I'm with Biomet in Chicago and I can tell you that my business has grown quite successfully in the last 3 years. The talk in the OR here is quite the opposite of what you are saying

They are all a bunch of overpriced scrub techs, I just love how certain ones think the world revolves around them; you do know surgeries happened before Arthrex, and they will happen when you are gone.
