I'll say!! What an understatement. "Biomet is known for its informal corporate culture." Pasties and poles with and without doctors. HR the Enabler. You don't hear anywhere near the crazy happenings at other companies.

When the 3i national sales manager picks up a $3000 tab at a San Diego strip club for a bunch of surgeons during the AAP, you know the values of the company are in the shitter. Biomet treated 3i like their red-headed step child, and 3i acted accordingly. I'm not so sure Zimmer is going to ignore the shenanigans that go on at 3i, but HR can only cover for them so long. If it is this well-known that 3i behaves like a frat boy on spring break, imagine the discussions that go on behind closed doors. Should be an interesting merger....time for 3i to get the spanking they deserve.

An employee's direct boss approves the Concur expense report so these "business expenses" are always approved. A NY rep told a group how this is done so not to raise red flags. managers are aware and the rest if the company is apathetic. The 2012 AAP in SD? There was an employee meeting at a strip club in October 2013. Who manages SD? There is someone in HR who knows alot going back years but she's unusually and inappropriately close with select managers and will protect them. HR has no interest in advamed's code of ethics so why should anyone else?

I think AAP 2012 was in LA. AAOMS was in SD. CA could care less about a medical company picking up these entertainment tabs for docs so it doesn't matter.
