There's a Report out by the Government Accountability Office looking at how Nuvasive's reps are in the operating room during XLIF surgeries:

    http://www.airforcetimes.com/article/20140115/BENEFITS06/301150033/VA-purchase-tracking-surgical-implants-flawed-report-says

"""They also criticized procedural flaws that permit surgical implant vendors to be present in operating rooms — and, in some cases, operate on patients, against industry practices."""

Veterans Affairs is getting criticism from Congress over the XLIF surgical failures killing off the Veterans...so the VA/GAO's passing the buck on the Nuvasive reps in the operating room placing leads on patients and getting their hands into the surgeries.

Nothing's going to come from it...they're just trying to "Save Face" and put on a show that they are doing something...nothings gonna change.

While there are lawsuits against Medtronic over the "Infuse" growth graft they use in their spine surgeries:

Nuvasive got lucky and didn't see any lawsuits over its "Osteocel" growth graft......because dead and near death patients can't sue.

    http://www.pharmawatchdog.com/what-is-the-future-of-medtronic-the-spinal-fusion-market

Both have killed and maimed Americans....Congress is happy about it because jobs and big money were created.

Congress can bring in more people as new citizens to replace what they culled. Congress/FDA aint gonna do squat to stop the poisoning-culling. You dont shut down a gold mine thats still bearing money 4 them.

Where the hell did you see anything about NuVasive or XLIF in this article? It mentions different types of implants (i.e. bone grafts, pacemakers, etc.) but does not mention a specific company or procedure.
