Lets be honest guys. BSC & Cook are kicking are asses with Stone Disposables, because those companies understand how to get on contracts and how to bundle their products much better than Olympus. Lets also be honest, and admit that the Urology reps are not going to be able to sustain 60% of their quota going forward into the future like in the past. Hospitals have shrinking capital budgets, and just don't have the willingness that they once did to issue large sums of money for capital. With that being said, the fact that Olympus has still not woken up in its bear den from its long winter nap about disposables and their importance shows that Olympus is not poised to be a leader, but more a follower. Couple all of that with the shrinking compensation for the Urology TM's and that leaves you with the fact that sales down the road will dwindle. Many seasoned veterans have left their posts, as either RVP's or have resigned for other opportunities. Richard & Luke, its time to clip old Nils there and get someone in there who is a born leader. Someone who will get Olympus back on top again.
Start paying the reps what they deserve, and please for the crying out loud, get rid of Nils and a few other of the degenerates, and get some top talent that is motivated to lead U&G!!!!
