This company is a complete joke!! First of all, they are nothing but a "me too" company with commodity products. They like to think they can compete with big dogs like Terumo, Boston Sci, and Cook Medical. Customers buy Merit products based on cost!!! And I know our competitors make double what we make! Fred is completely crazy and the managers are nothing but butt kissers!
I would agree. I would also say a lot of people buy from Cook becuase of cost. Can't stand Merit reps, no value.
Strange that you'd say our competitors. Almost like you work - or worked - at Merit. I enjoyed my time at the company for more than a decade and had no problem competing with Terumo, Cook or any other major player. Merit traditionally had great quality and a very strong sales force.
Yes, the company will never be a player, just a wanna be, "me too" company with crazy priced items. I worked there and yes the pay is sub par.
What's Merit starting salary? Just curious. I'm currently with Eco-lab and looking to jump ship real soon. Pay is ridiculously low for what we're doing. They want us to learn a new product line when we're having problems selling "trash bags" to OR. Not to mention it's 2014 and our company car is a Dodge Caravan. SMH. A CARAVAN??
