I guess this is the new folder for this company. Up to now people have been using the various legacy company folders or the General Discussion folder.

Currently it is the result of what was originally Inventiv Clinical Services combined with i3 (acquired early 2011) and PharmaNet (acquired middle 2011). They also purchased KForce and maybe some other smaller acquisitions I am missing.

This is the clinical research arm of Inventiv Health. They also have a commercial arm and a consulting arm.

The "man behind the curtain" is T. H. Lee partners - at least for now. They are private equity and own Inventiv Health.

The idea was to create a large CRO that could compete with the bigger players in the industry like Quintiles, Parexel and PPD. The level of success in this endeavor and in integrating the legacy companies is... debatable.

The worst company I've ever worked for. It's getting worse. Incompetent managers, worst benefits in the business and obsolete systems that don't communicate. It needs a complete overhaul. Management doesn't even know how the units function. Nobody has any leadership skills. All the good people left.

Just wait until the newly appointed President of Phase II-IV begins to show her colors. Seriously, watch out. I've have seen first hand her cut-throat-blame-everyone-but-me style and it's harsh. She was a wrecking ball at both Quintiles and Cognizant.

I think it's against the rules of this site to name names but if you google inventiv President of Phase II-IV you will see.

There has been a lot of negative talk about the "New" inVentiv Health Clinical. I have been here in operations for 5 years...I can tell you without question...this place is about to capsize. The management in BD is beyond comprehension. The decisions that are being made have led to 20 of our top proposal writers to either resign of seek employment in other segments of the company. There are 3 people that are solely responsible for the deliberate sinking of this organization. GS, JC and AJ...if you work here or are one of the recent departed...you know exactly who I am talking about.

I have heard that Inventiv is about to be bought out (taken over). Does anyone know by whom and what will happen to the inventiv employees?

This is the worst company to ever work for. You get treated like crap from the clients and they keep asking you to do more with terrible pay and poor benefits. I would not recommend anyone to this CSO.

If you're at the end of your career or looking for part time work then maybe this is a company for you otherwise stay away.
