Not sure if Arrow is an actual division within Teleflex, but was told those are the products (bone biopsy, dialysis, etc) and hospitals are much more familiar with the name Arrow. Currently interviewing and wanted some insight. What is base, comp at plan, good or bad division of the company, etc. I was told $140-$150 would be no problem. True or not true? I have well over 10 years in medical sales so I am not looking for entry level. Thanks for any and all insight.

It is an entry level position and $140-$150 will not happen. Tfx is the Walmart of medical device.

I am interviewing with Arrow and have heard a rumor that they may be coming out with a new Intra Aortic Ballon Pump. Can anyone confirm or deny this. I don't want to sound like an idiot in my interview. Thanks in advance for any info.

I will deny . You are interviewing with teleflex to sell the arrow brand . Teleflex sucks . Look at all the change in leadership . The only way they survive is to buy other companies , lose market share and buy another . If you have any med device experience stay away . Bunch of d level players .

I heard from a Cath Lab Manager that she was told Arrow was coming out with a new Intra Aortic Balloon Pump. I am trying to consider if working for Arrow may possibly be a good entry level opportunity but their current Intra Aortic Balloon Pump is over 10 years old. I can't see how this could be a viable opportunity if they don't have something new coming. Please can anyone who is a current long time employee tell me if something new is truly coming???

Hey idiot see above . Teleflex has not launched a successful product they developed in years. Unless they are buying a company that makes the pump it will be junk .

Depends on the Business Unit. Surgical are all new Medical device reps that came from B to B and your right they don't get paid at that range. Vascular are experienced reps and the top rep makes over $200k. some of the KAM's made over $300k last year. Cardiac reps are very seasoned around an average of 8 years with the company and get paid pretty well. I don't know about A/R but told the reps at plan are in the $140k range. The comments above must be coming from someone in Surgical or someone who is spending more time here and not out trying to make their number.

Thanks for the update management . For every 1 person making $200k there are 30 making under $100k . A great place to break in but if you have experience stay away . Lots of sales openings for a reason . Most reps not at plan in all divisions so it doesnt matter what at plan pays because nobody hits it.

I would think so since it's been so long since they came out with anything new but I can't find anything on the FDA's website that a product has been submitted for 510k approval.
