We are seeing more and more of cash under the table from the Millennium Sales Reps. I have confirmation from several Office Managers/Doctors who have been asking my reps, how much can you give me? We are documenting this and will be working with the OIG. The Company and specific Sales people are going to be documented and named.

This is the only warning you will get!

This is stupid. Why warn? Cal the OIG hotline. What good is it posting? Pick up the phone

Because we think that the Company is promoting this behavior. It is not the Sales people we want to expose, it is the management of the Company.

This reply is hard to understand
Calling the OIG hotline doesn't get reps in trouble. It exposes the company behavior.

Sales people are just as exposed as a company. The OIG is looking for specifics, not general allegations.

The charge sounds very specific: "confirmation from several Office Managers/Doctors".

If this is true, the person making the charge should contact authorities with this information. Let the investigators sort out who has exposure and who doesn't.

Are you people for real?!?!?!? Does anyone think a company would really allow cash payments to providers for referrals? Regardless of the lab, I don't think anyone is that stupid to do that...

You really don't know these people do you? Their arrogance is as big as their lavish lifestyles.

Next you'll say they are walking into providers offices with aluminum briefcases filled with cash and saying, "send me your urine"! You're out of your mind!

Maybe but I am going to let the people in Boston figure that out. Didn't something about illegal activity come out earlier in Florida?

If you were smart enough to read the legal filings in Florida, you'd realize that the jury made the wrong call. read the actual filings. and the work that was done prior to the program even beginning. Millennium did the right thing by engaging the gov't prior to beginning the program.

Nice try Millennium lackey. Jury got it right and the feds will have their day as well. Right thing? You wouldn't know it if it hit you in the face. The company is run by "wrong thing" individuals.

just a matter of time, before the truth comes out..

    http://medcitynews.com/2014/09/diagnostics-lab-anti-kickback-scrutiny-wsj-report/

Virginia-based Health Diagnostic Laboratory may be testing the delicate waters of the country’s anti-kickback laws, according to the Wall Street Journal.

The fast-growing lab tests for biomarkers that point to heart disease – but its practice of incentivizing physicians to use its diagnostic tests is a touch suspect, the government says.

This smacks of a related story – one in which San Diego’s fast-growing Millennium Laboratories found itself enmeshed in a (still ongoing) grand jury trial. Though Millennium – a urine drug analysis company – remains mum on its revenues, since its own 2008 start it’s expanded into a sprawling complex that employs more than 1,300. And it, too, faced accusations of physician kickbacks and Medicare fraud, according to a 2012 Reuters investigation. Little has been revealed since about the status of the grand jury trial.

Almost one year later and THE TRUTH did come out and is still being discovered-one can only hope that the leaders who made or allowed the work life at ML to be hell, yet made millions of dollars, will have to pay. Company has no money, the decent leadership it had is leaving and Millennium Experience just isn't able to bridge the gap.
