    Roche has received approval for a first-in-class device for the giant diabetes market: a glucose meter with a built-in insulin calculator. Here's the Mass Device piece about it. Is this disruptive tech for the insulin-dependent diabetes market?

    as a parent of a type 1 young adult.. I think a glucose meter with insulin dosages isnt useful.Most of my sons type 1 friends use pumps... so the calculations are made by the pump..
    however- the meter would benefit type 2's who are on shots, pills, etc...
