Allergan approaches Salix Pharmaceuticals for a possible deal

Salix down 5 points today. I guess there was no announcement? Monday for sure though, right?

 

The drop could be due to TRowe's statement. Salix was also working with Actavis on a possible deal. I don't know the deadlines involved.

 

Any info on Salix. I know they tried a couple times but could not reach a deal. Wanted to see if anyone knows if there is still some talks going on

 

I imagine whatever is going to happen won't be leaked until end of October like a game of chess each player is waiting for the next move so they know how big of a move is needed.
