Vehicle/Car Allowance - Using it on Rental Car

    Has anyone ever used their vehicle allowance on rental cars? Company doesn't have the company car option. If so, what are the pros and cons?

    Cons: cost more in the long run, in most cases

    Pros: no worry about breakdowns, maintaining.

    Its not a bad play, really, if you can get something cheap (<40 dollars a day).
