Be a Part of The Red Pants Project!

Are you superb? We think so! Please join us in celebrating the 2nd Annual Red Pants Day on Monday, March 9th, 2015. The Red Pants Project's goal is to inspire personal philanthropy and encourage the reflection and recognition of all the great people in your everyday life.
WEAR red pants to work, SHARE your appreciation for the special people in your life, and CARE for those facing Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome with a donation to help fight the disease.

    Why Red Pants?
"You want to see how dumb I look in bright red pants?" - Mike Yasick, President, Shire Specialty Pharmaceuticals - March 6, 2013.

On March 8th, 2013, Mike Yasick, friend, family man and business leader, passed away from complications due to Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a rare genetic disease impacting connective tissues that already claimed his father, two brothers and later that year would claim his son, Chris. Mike, despite knowing his time on the earth was limited, made the best of every day and was constantly putting smiles on the faces of those he knew. "You want to see how dumb I look in bright red pants?" he said to a colleague just two days before his death, as he sent her an email of himself in shining red pants - just to brighten her day. As a testament to Mike Yasick's constant celebration of life, Red Pants have become a symbol of friendship and remembrance for many, including our team at Taylor Strategy Partners.

Taking a moment to truly appreciate all the people in our lives, as well as raising awareness and funds for Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, is the reason The Red Pants Project is so important to us. In 2015, we hope to spread Red Pants Day and all it stands for to other places of work.

WEAR - SHARE - CARE If you would like to become part of The Red Pants Project and receive a Red Pants Day Care Package filled with information about Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome and fun tools to celebrate the day at your place of work, please email Shannon Slattery at Shannon.Slattery@taylor-strategy.com.
