I haven't seen any in over 10 years. Maybe is a company thing? Its funny because even when I interview, I have so little respect for them. And, it shows in the interview, that almost all of them are just order takers and can't sell.
Hey sparkles, I have landed jobs w adp, Pfizer, and metronic, so I interview fine...I just think most managers in pharmaceuticals are weirdos like you. It was an observation over my career that I have picked up on, people w no ability that should be selling ice cream as a sales career, not complex products.
Given the fact that you can't hold down a job for very long, it must be your poor work performance, yet you want to find someone else to blame (in this case, managers) for your shortcomings. It is also that track record of poor work performance that keeps you from getting back into pharma.
I take it, you never advanced in pharma. Not surprised. Now you have to keep job hopping since you can't even keep the one you have......dummy.
Medtronic sales rep > District or regional managers in pharma.... and its not close, especially when you consider the job stability, the value you bring to the business environment and your overall self worth. Don't get mad a me because I am among the wise that know you mangers are overpaid and lazy pieces of junk.
Medtronic???? Bbbbbwwwwwaaaaaahahahahahahahahaha Not to mention, you have spent your entire career as a rep????? Overpaid????? Is this your excuse for making small $$$$$$? I think YOU need to be working on your "self worth".
Reps make more and bring more value, dummy. You are the type of managers that do nothing on field rides but distract me. I yes you to death, but I can't hear a word you say, because you suck. And you are welcome for me putting food on your table, Lord knows you can't possibly do it on your own, lazy ass fool. Pharma manager? lol lol lol lol hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah....the laughing stock of sales.
Every time you post, you say something even more idiotic. Reps make more??? Bring more value???? You really believe that??? The only line you have right, is putting food on the table as that is all you do in a doctors office when you are delivering those pizzas and subs. Yes, a pharma manager brings more value......and, by the way, I moved above that a LONG time ago. You better run off now and pick up those bagels. You got some hungry office cows waiting to be fed.
You seem to be the only idiot that doesn't understand that REPS bring in the bacon, as we deal directly with the customers. Stick in management, because you obviously were terrible in front of your customers. And yes, ON AVERAGE, reps do make much more than management, across all industries...and do you know why? Because we work harder and are more relevant to the day to day livelihood of the company, flipping moron.
Yet another idiotic post. Do you really think docs are swayed by your silly banter? Of course not. They look at the product and its merits, compared to others. When you go out and buy a car, do you choose the car based on how slick the salesman is? Of course not.....well, maybe you do because you are too stupid. But most people look over the products and decide which one they really want to have. As for your claims on sales reps making more than management? That has got to be the dumbest thing I have read on this board in a very long time. Do you know how to read a proxy statement on your company or any other company? Do you even know how to look up overall income statistics? My guess is you don't. Reps make now where even close to what management makes. It isn't even close. Grow a few more brain cells and then come back.
