Very funny how some posters view the promotions to a "pod manager" as a positive. Reps only did that because if they stayed their territory would be cut and we know what happened to the pay plan.

How to compete, how to sell, and how to serve the customer
In the proper manner.

Wow really! A new multisource Urology agreement for
Medasset. Totally worthless.
How about something with teeth in it, you useless assholes.
The real problem is who we have on staff for Corporate Accounts,
Marketing, and whomever is directing
The landscape of the Olympus Surgical Business.
Olympus has so many bloated and worthless
Management making idiot decisions, on a daily basis.
Is it really shocking that sales are way down?
None of the sales reps care about the business anymore.
Olympus has cut pay so deeply, that half of the reps don't care,
And the other half have resigned.
Some things never change....

Many of us don't care, why should we?
Olympus could care less about us as employees.
Have you seen the 401k plan and insurance that RVP & AVP
Receive compared to the reps?
Why dont you crooks pay us what we are worth?
Sales will continue to plummet!
In the end Olympus will lose.

Dobt forget to update your CRM, so the misers at the top can count their
Pennies!

 

401k is the same for everyone? and RVP & AVP & above pay MORE for insurance for the exact same plan???

Energy folks to remain profitable.

Olympus has been falling off a cliff for quite sometime.
They make good technology, that is way over
Engineered. Sometimes way more than the customer wants.
At the end of the day here is the meat and potatoes:

1) your commission will continue to plummet
2) support staff will continue to be rude to you and your customer base
3) Olympus will continue to invent ways to steal your commission
4) upper management will never ever get a clue! (Fact)
5) Randy Clark is not going to save you.
6) don't waste time assuming bitching about Olympus, it's fucked up culture & management
Will do any good. Over in Japan they reassign engineers to harassing environments to threaten them if they reveal design flaws or inform customers of problems.
7) Olympus is a bad company, act accordingly!
8) Center Valley is full of assholes!

Hopefully I saved Atleast one person from accepting a job offer to this black hole.

Truth is most sales reps across all divisions are looking.
I woukd know.

Because I'm a medical device recruiter in the Midwest, and Olympus
Has managed to piss off a ton of their sales reps.
Comp theft, invoicing theft, allowing certain reps to steal other reps disposable business,
And a general disrespect for their reps are just a few of the reasons...


Me and many of my colleagues in recruiting will not work with Olympus.
What a shitty company!
