Employment post-merger

    Has anyone heard if we will get a formal notification of continued employment with Shire before the close of the merger or will we be notified post-merger? Management says things are ok but having a direct answer would be nice.

    There are no layoffs. Leadership has already been told that the entire sales team is being retained. Gattex team will be left alone due to complexity of the market. natpara team should also be fine for time being but changes could be swift post launch if sales are slow.

    What happened to the 3200 stock options at hire that we're not approved on 1-15-15...

    Obviously a sales person posting this since they think the entire company revolves around them

    What about the other 400 employees in the company?

    Shire doesn't have the greatest reputation and is already onto their next acquisition.

    If I work in the home office, I take the money from my RSUs, options and CIC severance and look for another job.
