Hospital Sales - Area Manager

    I have been reading some of the posts and this board for this room is just like a lot of the other companies out there with negative people and such. I am asking for some real answers please. I am thinking about applying and its direct through the company and not through InVentiv, so any real answers would be great.
    My current hospital company was just bought and we are all being let go so I need to find something.
    1. What is the base salary range?
    2. Vacation time?
    3. Company car or car allowance? (How much)
    4. Benefits - 401K, stock options, health?
    Thank you in advance for your time and some real answers as I need to find a new company.

    1) below other companies - but probably a match to where you are now
    2) 20 vacation days, plus 4 floating holidays
    3) company car

    401k matching to 6%, no stock options but espp after 1 year and health insurance thru Aetna.

    It will all look different in time under Bill. El Cheapo will strike in 2015.

    Can anyone shed some light on what the Area Sales Manager - Hospital position sells? The recruiter doing all the phone screens before the phone interview with hiring manager isn't sure as to what the products are and what division. Is it Immunology, Coagulation, Pulmonology, Critical Care, Wound Healing. Specific Products? Thanks for all honest feedback.

    Thank you very much for the honest feedback. That was the two products that I thought it would be but wanted to make sure to go into the face to face with a good handle on things.

    What is the company car that you receive? My recruiter told me that there was an option for a company car or a car allowance. Can anyone shed light on this? What the company car choices are, or is there an car allowance option

    Ford Edge, Ford Escape. No car allowance.

    Turn down offer. There is a reason positions are open a long time.

    No matter how hard poster tries to sound sincere don't buy it. Way too may competitors To CSL hire outside firms that spin together an approach to disarm others and then ask questions to fill in answers on their monthly monitoring report. Not one person needs to know specific products for prep for an interview...not one. Besides you risk looking like a huge jack-ass of a candidate by reveling you use cp as a prep source for an interview. Not buying it at all. Sincere candidates focus on their strengths, their experience and get an overall handle on publicly available company information for the interview. Then naturally evolve from there.

    True. Why would a candidate looking to fill and open position search for any product specifics here? True sales Professionals are competitive by nature. wouldn't want any specifics that could give one candidate any advantage, shared on a public site like this.
