Oh heavenly father, please give my inept company, that tried real hard in spite of so many obstacles, the ability to make its 4QIC payout in mid-March. Yes lord, I agree many of the problems were unique and our leaders unequipped - but, I ask not just for me. I ask for all the other suckers like me that believed we had a chance to make a difference. Please also grant all of us in the field sales department additional wisdom to learn from this horrific career mistake.

    In your name I pray,
    Amen

    Dear lord,
How did your blessing allow for such poor choices in the personnel chosen to run our managed markets division? How can Roger be so blind? Or just too cheap to offer positions to quality people that had any relationships with accounts - not simply purchase inaccurate vendor reports.

And I pray you broke the mold after the VP of managed markets was born. The world needs to care for only one of those souls that pretend to know what they are doing and ruin the lives of so many people depending on his abilities.

    Amen

I feel for you guys, but does formulary position really depend on relationships. Or does it depend on cost? yes, i get the fact you need a relationship to get a chance to pitch your value proposition, but no relationship is going to overcome a branded product in a marketed dominated by generics.

    Dear R Hawley:
I know its tough. And your perception of pharma is dated. But please see the real problem. Thank you poster.
BTW - we pitch our value propositions all the time using our well established email relationships with our mgd markets professionals.
ps. please send latest vendor report. thanks team.

BEST POST EVER!!!! So glad I made the right decision to leave this mess of a company. I feel for you all of you still there. Hoping you can all find a better life on the outside of the Z-team soon.

Great post. Laughing my ass off. But look around. We all left good jobs - at least jobs that weren't going out of business - to get on a plane only to be fooled by the nice hotel spaces Zogenix rented in Dallas and Atlanta. Came home - got those letters - and look at us now. Been on the job boards? A lot of nothing. But we came here for a great 14 month ride. My old gig is still back there going strong.

    So lord,
I pray that all of my field sales colleagues who were clearly as dumb as me and said YES to the most unprepared, underfunded, and lacking of knowledge on how to get the business in the pain space in 2014-15 - ZOGENIX - I pray they all find suitable employment quickly.

Finally, a voice of reason. What was the story about those living in glass houses??? In this day and age, with a CII product, anyone who knows anything can tell you that it is a tough sell; whether to docs or to MCOs. If you are not happy here, please leave.

Hello dum dum - sorry Lord - but when Chimpanzee posts the angels must provide the light. 1. the quote you quoted dum dum was based on relationships (which Zogenix has none) and Cost(which Zogenix was to greedy to effectively compete) and 2. I don't think your polite request to leave is really necessary. Alex Trebeck said 45 days was the correct answer.

    Amen
