Quest stock is at a record high, so why don't our raises show that? Why are these rich executives allowed to make decisions like this? Oh yeah, it's because none of you idiots are going to do anything about it. Just keep accepting that no one cares about your hard work. Idiots.
Wake up it's nearly 2015! People don't get yearly raises. Go work for a real lab and sell something....it's the only way to make money in this industry!
You do know that a very large number of us did (and continue to do) the one and only thing you can do - we left.
Good that you know your limitations. Now, in the interest of time, let me answer your next question In advance for you. Of coarse I would like to add two hot apple pies for just a dollar more. Thanks and hope this helps.
Why should you get a raise? You're getting an all inclusive trip to Dallas in Feb---there is your raise! Enjoy your vacation!
Ha! Quest does not know how to respect their specialty reps nor how to utilize them efficiently. Look at womens health for a prime example of grand misuse of talent and deployment.
Womens health as a specialty is laughable...athena, berkely, onc, are specially jobs selling something that doesn't sell itself..cough, cough like paps for example. True specialty reps should get a raise as the rest of quest isn't fit to hold out jock at the end of a long day.
You are an idiot if you think Women's Health sell paps. That is CBCs to them. It is prenatal genetics that is sold. SMA, Fragile X, CF, NIPT, MSSs, Micro arrays, etc. that team does not get enough credit Imo. Neediest customers with the most ruthless competition. You could not pay me enough to do that job.
Hardly, I could talk circles around several whs about their own tests, because they are clueless. Paps represent the largest majority of revenue, so they are getting paid to push a very common, routine test.
The majority of "rep generated" Quest business is derived from doctors forced to use Quest by one of their HMOs who don't want their staff to have to deal with multiple labs. Convincing doctors to use an in-network lab with a collection station down the hall isn't exactly the hardest sell in the world nor does it merit a significant raise and/or high commission payout.
