But no other company in America has an annual Big Balls Jamboree event! Count this as a great "perk"!

 

First, ignore OCD posting clown about the not so funny jamboree. Second, if you join the western sales team, make sure you join the wine club. Of course this is all my opinion, but it will provide job security no matter how incompetent you are as a sales leader. You'll get promoted even though nobody respects you, you don't have to provide any value as a sales leader, nor need to have any clue how to improve sales, just attend meetings and say I don't know. OR you can run and interview with a company that actually knows how to hire right.

 

For someone who has apparently never attended a Big Balls Jamboree in the past, you have no clue about the event. Perhaps you should stop trying to be the "all knowing" sales professional and realize there are others far more intellegent than you. You may be the most incompetent of all! See you at Gig Harbor??

 

ignore all the replies. sales reps have the best job here. since xymogen and other competitors are taking our business you won't have to work...since it's the overall excuse we are all using to keep our jobs. just drive for miles when you need extra cash and call all your accounts to take orders every week. just don't forget to log your "face to face" sales calls...wink wink. protect your DM and senior managers from getting fired and you can collect a decent paycheck for years...just like me. this is the best job ever. i do miss the katkes though. they knew how to run the company. thanks to them for the 100k base. i'm here for as long as i can be. senior leaders will come and go, but as long as you can SPIN as a rep on all sides, you are safe.

 

Yup, everything downhill since the last Katke "left". Tim, Noons, and Pardinas actually turned the company around. I have no idea why they all left. Seeing how Fred left a year later just shows they had no idea what they were doing...meaning Fred and his marry band of chronies. Now if the leftovers would just be cleaned out in the next round we could actually start growing again. Instead we are still being led by individuals that only care about their own job security and still don't understand our business space. Go back to retail. These old dogs can't learn new tricks and they still promote their "yes man", no experience /talent boot lickers. Hence, the death spiral.

 

So sorry, but think of The Big Balls Jamboree coming in June. This event will lift your spirits.

The Big Balls Jamboree is for families. The Jamboree is held the 3rd weekend in June- this year it's the 19th thru the 21st. - on Gig Harbor in MA! Friday thru Sunday.
Participants engage in various activities.
On Saturday there is a parade, followed by a great concert, featuring several well- known musical groups! This is the highlight of the Jamboree! The musical groups are fabulous!
It's open to all employees of Metagenics and their families.
Hotel space is still available, but you need to hurry and decide if you want to come. Talk to other past attendees to get their opinion!
