You seem miserable. I suggest you try to find happiness. According to you, everyone should be pissed. If they're not, you attempt to insult them.
I'm making money too. I'm very happy here. Yes, I am a rep.
Sorry for you and your family.

Aesthetics was a bank job, now 22K is great, wtf? That should be the ave payout sparky! its a great promotion for a sample dropper or a skincare rep, Medicis Account Mgr was a HIGHLY sought after gig that hired the best of the best, G A/C pays the industry worst for a rep, thats why there are countless resumes at Kythera from this sales team. Congrats Galderma! Wake up!

Somebody needs to wake up and realize what needs to be done here. Galderma sat around a room and said that Valeant was not managing this division properly and we could buy it and install the proper resources and grow the business. Well, almost a year in and they have grown nothing. It wasn't Valeant's fault. The business is a $250 million - $300 million a year business no matter who owns it. They will always be second to Actavis Botox but how close a second is up to Galderma. Stop sticking Alcon and Medicis folks in Management positions and bring in some fresh thinkers. Folks who will step out of the normal box and create some innovative and bold marketing plans. Sorry, kiddos but Aspire and wacked out IC plans aren't the answers. Additionally, the company sat on releasing Silk for six months and couldn't even get that right. They launch it with a Youtube video that a teenager could have done a better job with. No cross sales plans to increase sales for the older stagnant products. And then pulling the sales force out of the field for a week at a time to lock them in a hotel and decrease the amount of sales days available in Q1. Hey genuises, if the the numbers are light then it's probably not a good idea to keep pulling your sales force out of the field for training that could be done in 2 days or through a webinar. It's the 21st Century? People don't need to be locked away anymore. Technology, it's a great new thing.

Create some bundling packages to help cross sell, hire some out of the box thinkers and have your ducks in a row before launching your next new product. Otherwise, get ready for a headcount reduction or potentially another sale of the business.

Seriously, the approval for Silk was obtained in June 2014 and Galderma took the Valeant folks on in July 2014. They waited until January 2015 to launch the product and look what happened. No bundles to help sell the mature products, an amatuer video at best, and honestly a lackluster reaction by the medical community. Most docs laugh at the video and will only place an order if you throw them a bone to try it. It was a light Q1 overall even with a new product launch and no current competition from our friends at Botox. What happens when they launch their lip product? The whole product launch was put together so poorly by a company that has the marketing savvy of Nestle to draw from. Every leader should be on a PIP for this.

As far this Aspire program goes, there is a lot left to be desired. Most docs have to be convinced to try it out and when you finally do get a chance to proceed, the program is choppy and doesn't integrate well with IOS and other operating systems.

It's amazing how one company could rollout a new product and sales tool so poorly. Why aren't the leaders accountable for this?

That's right the guy at the top is to busy discussing his trips and watches and cars and the regional managers are to busy sending out 45 page emails about not making your numbers. The 45 pages don't provide any specific assistance just general sayings and nonsense.

Oh, and let's pull the sales people from the field every other month to lock them up for training like it's 1980 when there was no video conferencing or web based learning systems. Because we all have to spend 24 hours a day in various Dallas hotels telling each other how wonderful we are and being phoney. Much more important than actually selling our products.

Why would someone sit around and complain, anonymously, on a site like this? Why not try to step up and either be the change you want to see or simply leave. It's just frustrating to see such negative comments. Also interesting that the comments are similar for almost every single company listed on CafePharma. According to this site every company has clueless leaders, bad comp plans, crappy company cars, unfair salaries, too much work, stupid conference calls, etc. Those that actually try to grow their business are "drinking the kool-aid" or sucking up to somebody. It seems that the only ones that seem to have figured out how to run the business the right way are those that complain about everything...ironic? Most likely not.
