How long do you think they will be in jail for? Also, they will have to payback the money that they made from their illegal activities. Sucks to be them!!!!

 

The article is bad for entire industry, not just those few...inxjuding all of HDL and the other labs who practiced P & H and continue to market out of network and no balance billing...but then bill the commercial payers astronomical $ amounts. Its going to continue to keep getting uglier and uglier...dont kid yourselves...

 

These labs sinks of Enron practices...and the government will continue to blow it up...you better watch what you are saying out there in the field....there are still ongoing whistle blower cases going on. Docs are mic'd.

 

What happens in these cases, is the government possesses incriminating information on several people and one of them will look to cut a deal and provide detailed information on the entire scheme to the Feds. Who talks first? Time will tell, but nobody wants to go to jail and I'm sure the government is using its leverage to catch the entire crew.

 

Trust me, the talking already happened. Whistle blower deals already in place. Now the evidence gathering continues to happen. The govt will make examples of many just like they did with Pharma.

You better watch what you say, because docs are also part of these whistleblower cases.

 

Agreed. The docs will be the first to cut a deal, they don't want to go to jail. They will throw the reps and HDL under the bus in a hurry.

 

Not just HDL. Other competitors are in the same boat.
