Points of Contact for Hospital Sales Reps

Can someone provide an overview of the points of contact for hospital sales reps? My company is transitioning to account management from regular pharma sales, and we want to implement some structure and tips for the sales force. The mindset of hospital sales reps and/or account management reps can be similar, so any resources, tips, and best practices from these reps would be very appreciated.
