this was a wasted layer. word is they needed oversight of the inadequacy below this level.

 

This seems to be happening more and more at small companies.

They hire a bunch of inexperienced "leaders" who have more connections than ability, try to keep other levels low and over time keep adding more and more layers in between. Problem is everyone thinks they are a strategist instead of a worker.

 

and those 2 ain't strategists trust us.
