I'm seriously considering accepting a position with this company. Being told past sales rep made about 60k per year and the right person could make 80k. I'm a recent grad and interested in breaking into medical sales. Would be very happy with 80k per year. Any other reps here accomplish this? And are all these horror stories true? Area manager says it's all disgruntled employees.
Most of the posts here are from disgruntled employees. Lincare is a great place to work and the sales position is one the the most fun and challenging positions within the company. Good luck
Post above is obvious to be from an area manager. The sales position at lincare is plagued by horrible management. Most center managers cannot deal with the idea that if their center is successful with referrals and held sales that the sales rep will make more than the manager. So watch out for your own office because they will make or break you and unfortunately in most cases they break the sales person.
So to answer your question, $80,000 a year is possible but not likely. Chances are slim you will land in an office with an educated manager that will allow you success. Ask to speak with the previous sales rep. Again lincare is plagued with proven losers in management. With lincare sales you are only as good as the service your office provides. You can be the best salesman or saleswoman in the world but good luck selling an uneducated piece of crap to doctors when your competition has an education.
I am not sure that being a rep for Lincare will help you brake into medical sales, its a service sale more than medical sale.
She is half right.... They are disgruntled employees but how the F you think they got that way. I asked and was told the same thing.... It doesn't mean they are bad employees it means they are unhappy.... I'm totally unhappy with this horrible company but I was a good employee!
