A former clinical educator who left for another company shared that she thought 3 months tops.

Haha. Can't wait. Now it's our time to make the money off the Cardio testing or put the Docs on the spot as to why they used a sh*t lab in the first place. Can't wait and good luck for all you HDL reps.

Time to get out of the medical field. No one will hire scum!

Just because the company is filing bankruptcy doesn't mean it's closing doors. Just means it will bre acquired for next to nothing by a big outfit....it's going to have to be a big outfit because they are going to acquire the OIG fine too . $100M is nothing to a Quest or Labcorp. Actually, it is something, it's a writeoff. And for the next person who is going to say"why would Quest out LabCorp want HDL when they have their own shit?" They would be buying the customers. Companies do it all the time to capture more of the market and then they phase, out or in their former competitor (that they now own).

Do you seriously think Labcorp or Quest will purchase HDL? Quest ripped BHL apart and now has the Cardio IQ program, and Labcorp just bought Lipscience. HDL doesn't offer anything new or innovative, the only thing it does have to offer is a bunch of scandalous sales reps and a big debt. In these times when Quest and Labcorp are counting their pennies, I can't see this as being a sound investment.
I, for one, will enjoy watching them drown in their own filth....

Now that HDL and Atherotech are fading who's next???

Let's be clear here folks: HDL is mostly smart people, poor leaders, and a few previously contracted bad sales reps. What they lack in leadership and business savvy they more than make up for in crazy good technology. HDL has some of the most advanced lab tech on the East Coast, and that would be very very valuable to a LabCorp or Quest, which could score it all at a deep discount.

As for the two-story spiral slide at HDL that had a price tag with 5 zeros? Certainly one of those LabCorp or Quest execs has a kid, right?

I agree with last poster, but I don't get the comment about the kid?? Never been to headquarters, is there a big slide?
