Got a call from a recruiter about an Oral Care Territory Manager position. Don't think I'm interested but thought I would see if anyone had any info on the position regarding pay range, company car/car allowance, etc.

PS. I know these boards well enough to know I am opening myself up to snide remarks, ridicule, etc. I'm a big boy and can take it but sure would appreciate ANY serious remarks regarding this position. Thank you very much in advance! :)

It depends on what you're doing now. It's a glorified pharma job going door to door dumping off toothbrushes but it is better than getting signatures for samples and doing lunch and learns every day.

Thank you for your reply. I'm currently a 1099 medical device rep but was in pharma for 12 years before that. Do these reps get paid as well as pharma? Car?

You can expect $70-80k plus company car and good benefits. Great job for a mom who wants to help the family pay the bills.

Wow. You managed to be offensive to both men and women in the same sentence. Classy.

I seriously doubt $ 70k + car. Last time I spoke with anyone doing this type of marketing (it is not really professional selling - unless you consider those people in Costco handing out hot dogs in the aisles - 'salespeople') they were making half that, with a dogmeat stripper co provided sedan to get around in.

If so, this is a better job than 90% of jobs in the dental 'space' (cottage industry), and you could do it mentally drunk or on drugs.

Jump on it at $ 70k+. I would.

How did I do that? Just the facts. Deal with it. Any man with a family wouldn't want to use this job as a way to pay the bills. This is for moms who have a sugar daddy.
