I'm thinking about interviewing for an Airgas job, I mean...gas is gas, right? Anyone have any experience with this company? It's more industrial with welding and some lab stuff, but I thought maybe getting away from O2 might be smart?
What's the pay? Medical service sales vs industrial gaseous sales. Pardon me but I do not see many similarities unless a sale is a sale to you.
You obviously don't work for a home respiratory company now. There is no discounts. At airgas their customers are mainly industrial from what I know. At Apria or lincare the customers are patients in which you must obtain doctor's orders to supply services or equipment. In the home medical field financially you want as few tank users as possible based on your main payors. I'm just taking a shot in the dark but working with Medicare will be a little different than working with a welder.
