Here we go. First the good.

The company meetings are some of the best I've been to in terms of drunks and craziness. No lie. The CFO comes to all the meetings and is usually sauced by 8pm. So, usually good times there. If you're an attractive woman, you really don't ever have to work as he will keep you on so long as you bat your eyes and flirt with him. This is not being sexist, but the truth about how he works. There are men that have been put on PIPs for a bad quarter, and women who haven't made bonus in 2 years that still have jobs with no repercussions.

However, the company pays anywhere from 10-20K less on base salary than similar jobs. Range is usually 75-90. Bonus (more on this) pays 44K/year at plan with generous money if you go over quota.

Here's the catch. 85% of the salesforce did not make any bonus this year. Out of the 15% that did, only 5% made bonus on both products, and even then, it was the consolation prize of like $1K.

Myobloc is a bear to sell in this market vs. Botox and now Dysport with it's increased indications. There is no emphasis on Myobloc, but it accounts for $7k of your bonus. They want you to sell the hell out of Apokyn, but it's only worth $4K. The Apokyn goals were increased 25% from last year! But numbers are based on total sales. So, if you blew numbers out in '14, your actual increase could be anywhere from 25-70%.

Some of the territories have had 5 reps in 3 years. Partial termination, partial people leaving on their own because they can't pay the bills on just their salary.

There are currently 3 RD's. One is a great guy, one is still convinced that he's managing primary care reps in 2001, and the other is...well...unengaged. The 4th left recently and, if all indicators prove true, they will hire someone similar to the Primary Care manager.

There are many people looking to leave, me included. The only thing keeping me here is a tight market and my coworkers who I truly enjoy.

Come here if you need a job and want a quick fix. Stay away if you're in a position you enjoy.

Nonsense on the above post! Listen to a lifer. This is the best company you can ever work for if you ever are lucky to get in. Money is amazing, people are nice, and product is second to none! If you got the goods than you may be lucky enough to join. -RAM

First post is 100% spot on. The second post is most likely from someone in sales at the corporate office.

This is poster #2. Lets take the fact that some RAMs sold alot of Apokyn. Some people with anywhere between 1200-2000 cartridges/quarter and they are great at their job. I admire them. The cartridges are a $1000 a piece, thats 1.2M to 2.0M/qtr for the company. If those people hit 85%, theyre making $1000. If they hit 100%, they're making $4000. Now tell me how it's acceptable that a company that makes an average of $1.5M from their top performers pays those same performers, $4000 when they make a profit of millions? Or, in the case of 2015, raised the goals so much, that the company paid 85% of their reps NO bonus? Read that again, NO BONUS!!

Let's also consider that Susie Salesrep in Arkansas may be selling 150 cartridges a quarter and gets the exact same bonus.

Best company to work for? Not even close. This company is a prime example of the Peter Principle.

There is tremendous turnover at this company largely due to a VP of sales that still runs everything like Primary Care. Our meetings are a blast, everyone parties hard, and most people like to flirt and dance. Apokyn is the only "real" product we sell. My customers love it once they get try it. Parkinsons is a heart jerking disease state and offering patients Apokyn is a game changer for some patients.

I would say beware if you are sensitive to heavy partying and flirting. If you are attractive you will get hit on all the time at the meetings. I am personally fed-up with the whole environment and looking for another job. My only for leaving is I wish I could take Apokyn with me and give it to a company that knows how to reward their sales people. If you are not one of the VPs "pets" of objects of affection you will not enjoy it here. Good Luck and I hope not to see you at the next meeting.

Apokyn is dying. Too many variables in play. Between my COC dictating who goes on and who doesn't and JH demanding failure on Cinemet, it's impossible to make bonus when you submit 20 SMN's and 18 are rejected.

come on complaining Rams- if you only give half of the energy of complaints to your business than maybe you will win like other PC achievers - be all you can be
