I was contacted by a recruiter last week about a position in surgical endo. There were obviously no details " until I call him about this GREAT OPP" other than local metro terry, which is really apealing. I know how this board works and usually do not ask questions on here but I would much rather hear the reality before wasting my time with recruiters. Just a few basic questions. what is the base ; total comp? car or allowance? how are the products compared to the rest of the market?
It's a great opportunity. There is a base, I believe $70k. car allowance. Good products with great growth. (new products)
they cut the salary to 45k for Surgical you morons. Find out if its a Styker run territory before you sign. Do your homework.
True. Competition: Stryker, Karl Storz, ConMed, and ISI Olympus is a distant 3rd in mkt share. Great if you can convert against loyalty, price and contracts.
