Has anyone ever heard of this company?

 

Yes, they're Florida based, but bill from Sun Laboratories in California. Not sure if the lab director, Dr. Farrell is related to another PhD. Dr. Farrell of Synergy Labs in Las Vegas? Synergy says they pay reps half, but then their reps roam the earth saying they're owed $85,000++. Shady players, expecting them to be closed down.

 

Big Player in the Tampa FL market.

 

Wrong company, ACS has nothing to do with Synergy. They are one of the legit labs, check out recent news on pathology blawg.

 

How is it that the OIG hasn't fined Synergy into obsolescence? Lab directors and reps try to auction off business. Kickbacks & payoffs are routine business expenses.

 

Did the Nevada lab ever pass proficiency testing?

 

They have to be related. Two shady lab directors with the same last name?

can you elaborate? Was it more than the $60/ specimen kickback/ trial by DrugScan?

Interviewed with several labs in the toxicology space in my home state of Florida. Several tried to tell me all of the back door ways to get large volumes of business while this American Clinical got an owner on the phone to interview me and he was very adamant about hands above the table business. I even gave his some scenario's told to me by the other labs that I thought was fine and he said, "no way", Told me "all we can give is good service, they make their money however and we bill for our definitive testing service".. Never went further due to raise at current job but happy to hear this from this industry.
