When the morale is low....let's fire some people!

What freaking company would be stupid enough to fire more reps when a vast percentage are jumping off this ship like they're on fire..oh yeah...the brain trusts in the corporate office at Promius! Anyone else on the fence.....you are nothing short of crazy for staying here. It will never get better. Ever. Here's a basic synopsis.....you are selling an ancient steroid older than dirt that's ridiculously priced, the coverage getting worse and worse, and goals that will never reflect realitity for the vast majority of territories in the country. You are also selling a giant vat of crap that costs $1000 .....seriously?? Oh but the vehicle is nice. Insurance won't care when they finally realize they're paying that much for something worth $30 max. How long before MD can keep flying under the radar hoping the insurance companies won't notice the ridiculous price. You really think he's negotiating anything? Try to give him a heads up on a situation in your territory....he will just ask you a million questions to defer you until you just give up on getting a real answer. Don't even bother. Useless.

Good luck with dsp after the debacle at valiant. Promius promise....for the love of God give up on that name! Can't anyone here admit they were wrong with the marketing. The service is a pain in the ass...big deal....the patient saves a $10 copayment. Not worth the hassle of the signature, and weather delays, and holidays hours...etc etc. Don't you see most prescribers quit writing it for a reason? They. Don't. Come. Back. It's cheaper at a dozen other pharmacies!

If you think you are safe at anytime after they fired a presidents club winner from the year before you are delusional! Who does that?? Guess what....if you're ranked anywhere in the 30s you could be next. All those who have quit have left vacant territories, contract territories, or reps newer than 6 months will be passed over and maybe number 22 can be put on a pip! If you're thinking of coming here....run...run...run as fast as you can in the other direction! Unless you have no job do not leave your job to come here. The people running this joint are horrible and don't give a shit about anyone here. When are the Indians going to get a clue and dethrone the captain? There is nothing new and glorious in the pipeline. Just more old shit with a huge price tag. The politicians are bringing light to this. It's only a matter of time.....this company is a complete sham.

 

Very interesting post. First off, who did they fire? I left Promius a little while back once it was clear to me that the RD regime was truly going to f--- up the company. I had an idea it would happen back when some of the original leaders left but thought I would stick it out and give RD#1, RD#2, MD, ES and the rest of them a chance to show us what they could do. Well, we found that out didn't we. Seeing this post and several others in the past have made me realize I did the right thing in leaving. Still in Derm, but I'm sure a lot happier than I would have been had I stayed there. Best of luck to all of you. I really do hope things get better for you real soon.
