So is Kowa buying out Amarin? That's the word on the street.

    Interesting.

Amarin reps are paid more than Kowa reps. wonder how that would play out?

I don't think so, maybe for some/most of the newbees to the industry but for tenured reps Kowa's compatible. As for Kowa buying Amarin, I don't think so! As a Kowa rep, you have nothing of value! I personally dislike our agreement with Amarin, however we needed something quick to put in our bags when Lipofen went generic. Selling a 'fish oil' is not very appealing, and using the 1st amendment settlement to sell off label is only going to bite us in the ass. Amarin was/is on a path of implosion and we need to cut our losses with them as soon as possible. Vascepa is a sample drop no more or less and dealing with the Amarin reps should be limited! As for the obnoxious Amarin reps, we will see who is still working and who is not in the near future. Good luck becoming a rent a rep or in the unemployment line.

Riiiiight because this "fish oil", which you mean highly purified EPA, which doesn't have any side effects, could be proven to cut CVD (the #1 killer of Americans) by mere 50%. Yeah, who would want to sell those junk? Jealous much?

Kowa reps are the worst. You sold a me too feno when the doctors can write for trilipix which is approved for add on therapy. Vascepa is so superior to any other cardiovascular product on the market. Everyone knows this product is a miracle drug but Wall Street does not neither does the marketing team. Kowa is not buying Amarin but to save the reps at Kowa they should otherwise you all will be let go.

This speaks volumes of the type of reps at Amarin. Who had a layoff of reps recently? Sorry but by our calculations, since the inception of our Co agreement where is Vascepa sales? ...enough said! Inventive is hiring?! Lol
