Next thing you know, you're gonna complain about us the base salary here. It's about the mission.

 

Everyone already has.. Far below industry norm.. Your paying low base in diagnostics and a non reciprocal dx/device higher commission (structure). Pharma has a higher base and a capped far lower bonus. Exact took the reciprocating worst case / low of low between both industries. No win/win ?

 

Sorry: to put it simpler: we have a Low dx base/low capped pharma commission structure vs a low base (which we have) with ZERO opportunity for an uncapped higher diagnostic/device commission potential

 

We follow a pharma model only when it benefits Exact Sciences. When I interviewed they told me we aren't looking for pharma mentality! Hunters only! Then they structure everything like pharma: reach/frequency, capped commissions (oh now we aren't going to pay you on bulk orders either! Hire KAMs at a high salary to do a whole lot of nothing). Now we are 'account managers' to 'farm' the accounts.

But when it comes to other things, we think we are a device/dx. No holiday between Christmas-new years. No company car. No higher base salary. It's gonna catch up to you Exact! Reps are jumping ship.
