This place was weird as hell. The interview by some entry level HR person was beyond bizarre. Off the wall questions of which some were a violation of interview policy. And whoever posted the job openings can't even spell Pittsburgh correctly. What a goofball organization. Good luck with that.

Daniels is a growing company and it is not for everyone, it is fast paced, entrepreneurial and dedicated to living out its vision. What has been written above is like most company message boards with ex employees and disgruntled people voicing their opinion anonomously.

This company has grown from nothing to a major market position in a short period of time. The company has the very best products and provides a superior service that is improving every day, and the vision of the company, to make Healthcare Safer is a reality.

I have worked with the company many years and see improvement each and every day, are we yet perfect, no but we are striving for and working towards excellence in all we do, and I am encouraged by the ongoing strides that the company is making across all segments of the business. Opportunities abound for people who want to succeed and find a home with a solid reputable organization.

And your PR plug is brought to you by a corporate stooge drunk off the Daniels kool aid.

I interviewed for a senior position with this company a while back. Was interviewed by two high school aged girls in HR who apparently thought they new more in their 16 years on this earth than in my 16 years in the US med device industry. News flash, if your product cannot provide some economical benefit here in the US, it is not long for this world. I don't care how clinically effective your product is or if it is the "best at what it does". VACs want reduced costs or reduced infections which = greater savings or greater reimbursement. Good luck running a company that provides neither of those.

You are either an unhappy employee, in which case leave and take your negative opinions with you, or you are an ex employee who has no idea what is going on with all the changes for the positive that have and are occuring in the business.

Clearly you did not do any research on the company or understand the value proposition, as the companies product and services provides significant commerical benefits, that equals reduced costs, and also reduced infections, that equals reduced costs. Rather than being critical of the interview process and the company, would suggest you do your homework prior to placing "Anonymous" negative comments.

This post brought to you by your entry level internal kool aid new hire who never worked a day in the field. Nice try though.

The post was written by myself, someone who works in the field and has done for years selling the Daniels solution to a number of major clients. Can I suggest you take your Kool Aid, and your posts and do something positive rather than being negative against a company that rejected you, it appears to have been the corect decision.

Couldn't it be possible to reject Daniels instead of them rejecting the candidate? I am pretty sure people send a thanks but no thanks follow-up to the first interview request or after the first interview.

Dan, Dean, David , Knucklehead from the UK.
Stop posting positive responses to this post. You are ridiculous. Ask you self, .;;.. Why after 14 year from entering the US market are you still generating less than $45 M in revenue ? Steri is kicking your ASS and always will. CB is close on your tails from a revenue prespective. Its just a matter if time before someone else steps forth to take a real #2 position. Your management if poor, your costs are too high and your attitude needs to go back to the UK or your much smaller home land.

Believing that the AUS culture is missing from the US employees is a joke. Look at what happened to the other AUS companies that believed the same as you. You have the wrong vision, the wrong leadership and the wrong cost structure.

Possible and current employees, Folks if you employed, stay where you are. If you are a in need of a job, look elsewhere. If you look up deception in the USA distionary, you will see a picture of Dean and Dan with the Daniels Logo in the back ground

I'm sad to see there haven't been any update posts in a while. Miss the Daniels Drama. As someone from the NE once told me when I first started working there, "It's a great place to work while you look for a job."
