Who was in the cafeteria that day when the announcement of the closure was disclosed at the all plant meeting ????

IMO they should have never shut this location down It was producing a quality product and had no compliance issues like Rocky Mt and Austin did.Thats why the former workers are all mad. In a way I can't blame them..... FUEL LEAN Boosted stock and shareholder value BUT it sucked employees dry in the process. I Wonder what employees survived this and what employees fell flat on their face

The plant manager (forgot his name, he drove a fancy sports car) told us all we did a great job, beating our production goal by a huge amount, but in spite of this, MH was getting closed down anyway.

The people present were the only Hospira employees who understood the MMS business.

Wrong. The bulk of the people who were there were the ones building the pumps and providing technical support. There may have been some business people there, but that is not the main purpose of the MH plant.

As I stated before MH was not a problem.....It was one of the few sites that were actually compliant but Fuel/Lean did it in. Thank Begley Ball had nothing to do with it.

Lack of innovation, cronyism, high turnover and a stressful environment did it in.
